Aaron Maples, a New Orleans attorney, practices civil litigation at the law firm of Kinney, Ellinghausen, Richard & DeShazo. Aaron earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Alabama as a double major in English and Philosophy in 2010. After graduating from college, Aaron attended Loyola University New Orleans College of Law where he earned his J.D. in 2013. While attending Loyola Aaron served as the Managing Editor and Articles Editor of the Loyola Maritime Law Journal and also competed in a national trial advocacy competition sponsored by the American Association for Justice as a member of the Loyola Trial Advocacy Program. Aaron also co-founded the Veterans Advocacy Legal Society to provide volunteer legal assistance and guidance to veterans and their families located in the greater New Orleans area.
