Volunteer at the Crescent City Classic

As a Run For It charity partner, Bastion is required to provide 10 volunteers on race day for the CCC10K organizers’ needs, plus any volunteers we need to support Team Bastion. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Susan at development@joinbastion.org.

What is the Crescent City Classic?

The Crescent City Classic is a 10K race that takes place every Easter weekend in New Orleans. This race is a 40+ year tradition that welcomes runners of all levels and abilities, from world-class competitors to first-time racers. It is known for its uniquely New Orleans festivities and stunning course that ends in picturesque City Park.

What is the Run For It program?

The “Run For It” Program is the Official Charity Program of the Crescent City Classic. The goal of the “Run For It” Program is to raise $1 million annually and serve the Greater New Orleans area needs. Each year, the Crescent City Fitness Foundation selects local charities like Bastion to support and partner with for the 10k race.

Official Charity Partners recruit and form teams of up to 100 charity runners/walkers, who commit to raising a minimum of $200 per registrant for their charity by race day. Official Charity Runners receive various perks and incentives for joining the program, including a personal online fundraising page. All of the money raised will be donated directly to our selected charity partners. Raise $300 for your charity and receive a full refund of your registration fee.
